Fixing Errors

Fixing errors indeed! Last week thought I was posting a "draft" post but no....it posted it! So here I am today fixing my error of last week with a full-fledged post about "Fixing Errors in Knitting!"

Came across a nifty blog post by Ashley on the Craftsy blog. Includes links to helpful tutorials. Bookmark-worthy: Dropped Stitches and the Wonky Cables. Both are helpful when you're not sure how to rescue yourself from a tricky mistake.

 Go To Video Tutorials

Since I'm on the topic of fixing things.... here's my two favorite video sites. Sometimes you just gotta see it in action to have it sink in:

Ya'll know we love Berroco. Well for good reason. Not only are they a fantastic company to work with but they constantly strive to help out their fans. When you next need guidance head over to their Learning Resources. Must watch: Mattress Stitch, Kitchener Stitch and Measuring Gauge. They also have some crucial Crochet techniques too.

Oh and don't forget Ravelry. Norah and all the gang hang out in the Berroco Lovers Group. If you have a problem with a Berroco pattern post up here to get an answer. I'm currently lurking on Norah's Merle KAL and getting tons of great tips.

This is the blog of Michelle Hunter, author of the text for the popular Building Blocks classes* we teach at the shop. Her videos are great! Totally bookmark-worthy. I'd even keep this in my tab bookmarks in my browser it's so good. Nicely organized in an alphabetical list for easy searching. Must Watch: Blocking and Tinking (that's when you unknit to fix mistakes) Both are two crucial skills to master.

* Building Blocks new session just started Aug 3rd. You can still join in. Just give us a call for details.*
