december newletter: snow!

Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus and it is December!

It was the big Open House in Murphys on Friday night and guess what?! Snow! We had snow!!! It started late and lasted all night long. It was a big family sleepover at our house. The Kids played out in snow first thing upon waking. Much fun was had by all. Growing up it wasn't often Megan and I had snow for Christmas so this is a rare treat. A bit early but heck...it's now "looking a lot like christmas" and we're in a full-on festive holiday mood. Bring on the elves, cookies, presents and hot cocoa!

What's up in the shop right now? 

Our holiday hours same as always: 10-5 daily; 6:30-9pmish Thur nights. Christmas Eve 10-3pm. Closed Christmas Day. Reminder: Thursday Knit Night Dec 12th: The Parade of the Holiday Handgoods! Bring in your hand made finished presents to show them off. 6:30-9pm ish. *partially finished presents also welcomed...since Kim won't be finished with anything by then!*

We're well stocked and ready for the holiday season. Christmas displays are up. Shelves stuffed with perfect gifts for everyone on your list. Stockings are big in our family-the main event usually-so we always have plenty of little fun gifts perfect for stuffing. (watch for a Stocking Stuffer Extravaganza newsletter next week)

You may wonder why we sell ready-made socks. Because I needed new wool socks this winter and there's no way I'd finish knitting multiple pairs of fine gauge wool socks on #1 needles! These are great socks.  Even with our cement floors and in clogs my toes stay toasty warm. They wash and dry great too.
