Indie Bookstore Day Apr 24th

The whole Indie movement began many years ago in the bookselling industry as a response to the rise of big chain stores inching out the small local independent bookshops. We remember those days well, both of us being on front lines working for Copperfield's Books. The move to raise awareness of how important Shop Local means to our home towns seemed daunting back then. But it's worked! Today we're all aware of this on so many levels (books, grocery stores, yarn shops, hardware stores, restaurants). Especially after this past year, more and more folks get it and boosting their local Mom & Pops much more! It's why we're still here, doors open happy to provide lovely stuff, helpful guidance and lots of smiles! And puzzles...of course lots of puzzles! LOL
