Innovation and shifting gears..... that's how to thrive in topsy-turvy times. In the wake of past year many have embraced zooming and all things virtual. Thanks to the lovely teacher and designer behind Pam Grushkin Knits we now provide her virtual classes in our shop! While our in-person classes are on hold, Pam has plenty to keep us busy.
Pam is a well known instructor/designer and in wake of pandemic totally reinvented her career to embrace a new reality. With hubby Joe's help they converted her classes into virtual classes. They now work with small shops to help fill the classes-void. Since 2004 she's been busy teaching and designing full time. Then 2020 arrived. She rejiggered things and perfected real-time, interactive classes virtually and helped many big festivals (think NY Sheep & Wool Virtual Festival) and other recognizable big stores (think WEBS, String Yarns, New England Yarns) embrace virtual classes.
One ongoing series totally caught my eye: Noro Log Cabin Blanket. Perfect timing since on my to do list is a "summer blanket series" and everyone knows I'm a sucker for Noro. Log Cabin style blocks are fun and portable - also perfect for summertime knitting.
Then Knitting Fever (our Noro distributor) jumped on board and created kits for her class!
Makes taking a class easy-peasy. If you're looking for classes from comfort of your couch...check out what Pam's providing. Remember to let her know maisieblue referred you and we'll get a wee credit and can offer discounts on any class supplies purchased through our shop.
