Our Blog and New Digest Newsletters

All content pushed out in our email newsletters is first posted up on our blog: maisieblue blog It's best spot for the latest shop info (bookmark it, add it to Feedly or your preferred blog reader). Lately we're finding aggressive email filters dumping our emails into spam folder. Fear Not: Just pop over to our blog to see what's up with the shop.

The blog Archive has a drop down menu (right column, scroll down a bit). You can see all the posts chronologically by month. Kinda shocking to see so many. time flies and how many long blog posts generated! Well...not surprising since we're a chatty family. Entire history of our shop sits on this blog.

Good thing you can search it! On right side there's links to our website, current classes, instagram. Fun to look back at first years and see how far we've come.

Aug 1st marked start of our 15th year in business. Blog goes back to 2011. We now have a robust website (took a pandemic to get us to build it and now it's huge!) Overall...not too shabby for a small little shop like ours.

pssst.....we've not forgotten our birthday sale....it's a belated birthday sale sep 1-7th 15% storewide! more details next week on the blog....

Our Newsletters

Now our email newsletter will be a quick digest links to newest blog posts sent monthly, sometimes bi-monthly. Just click the links to go to the blog post. There you'll find all the usually chatter, pictures, etc..... Format below pretty basic. In future you'll see more pretty pictures. But oday...this is it! Simple, to the point and in your inbox (hopefully....and not trapped in spam folders)!

NEWSFLASH: wee sale this weekend and other tidbits

It's Passport Weekend in town so that means lots of people in town, sipping and shopping. To say thank you to our customers we're running a special Scott Street Sisterhood sale. Make a purchase in a shop and you get a coupon for 10% in a sister-shop. How simple is that?!

What is this very nefarious sounding sister-thingy-hood you ask? Well all our shops on Scott Street are owned by women, so we've dubbed ourselves the Scott Street Sisterhood (because I can't resist a bit of fun rhyming alliteration). Nothing sinister...unless you count plying you with way too much caffeine, tempting you with lovely pretty things and enabling your weakness for all things books and yarn.....I guess we could be considered a wee bit sinister! LOL But we do it with a smile. :)

Au revoir Google Reader . . . Bonjour Bloglovin'

Deadline looms. July 1st = we lose Google Reader (sob) and must find other sources for all our blog reading habits. I'm testing out a few: Feedly, Bloglovin or River of News.  So far jury is out but getting our blog set up in Bloglovin because it is the prettiest by far and it’s super easy to discover new blogs.

Follow our blog with Bloglovin

Oh . .  . okay. . .  just a little bit more chattiness . . .  but only because you're twisting my arm. But I’ll be brief (as I feasibly can when I’m a human chatter-box).

How’s that for speed-chatting! I did it. No extraneous info about the pics above either. Not bad!

oooooohhhhhh…... just one more thing……an exciting sneak peek of things to come. Hint: favorite website + expanded classes and KALs in the shop!

craftsy-logo Watch for all the details in next newsletter (or just pop into shop and say ‘hey….what’s got ya so excited?’ and I’ll spill the beans. . . secret-keeping not my forte)

No more. I’m done for today. Promise. :) Until next time.
